These disclosures apply to Guglielmo and Associates, PLLC (“Guglielmo,” “we” or “us” or “our”), including our website located at www.guglielmoandassociates.com (the “Site”) (“Privacy Policy”).  “You” and “your” refers to Site visitors and our clients’ customers.

Personal Information We Collect

“Personal Information” is data that identifies a specific person.  Personal Information does not include aggregated or deidentified data that cannot be reasonably associated with or linked to a single person.  Personal Information we collect may include:

  • Your relationship status.
  • Your Social Security Number.
  • Your Driver’s License Number.

We collect Personal Information from you, from our clients, from third party vendors.  For example, we collect Personal Information from you when you create an online account and from our customers when they send us an account for collection purposes.  

“Automatic Information” includes aggregated or deidentified data that does not identify a specific person.  Automatic Information may be collected by cookies or similar website technology.  Automatic Information collected by our Site or by our vendors may include:

  • Your IP address or unique device identifier. A device identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your device, and our systems identify your device by its device identifier.

We use Personal Information and Automatic Information to:

  • Guglielmo is a debt collector and all information that is collected will be used for debt collection purposes.  (This use does not apply to our business-to-business connections.)
  • Performing services such as maintaining, servicing, and/or collecting on accounts on behalf of creditors.
  • Verifying debtor information and processing payments.
  • Report collections to creditors and process back-end billing with credits.
  • To carry out our contractual obligations or to pursue the contractual rights of creditors.
  • To market our business-to-business services.
  • Undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration.  
  • Operate and improve our Site.
  • To comply with our legal or regulatory obligations.

How We Disclose Your Personal Information

We disclose personal information to vendors and service providers, our clients, to pursue collection on our customer accounts, and as required by law.  For example, we employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf such as Site analytics, technical support, and process servers. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions; however, they may not use it for other purposes. 

We will not sell your Personal Information.  

Do Not Track Signals

Our Site does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

Updates To Your Contact Information

If the address or phone number you provide us does not match the information in our records, we may update your contact information based on what you have provided to us. If we update our records, the updated address will also be provided to our client and/or other attorneys retained by our client to collect your account.

Business Transfers

If Guglielmo merges with another firm or is acquired by another firm, consumer information will be transferred to that firm.

What Choices Do I Have?

As discussed above, you can always choose not to provide information, even though it might be needed to allow us to process or respond to a communication you have sent us.
